Rick it was great hearing you on your pass through Iowa. Plus it's always good to hear my old friend MJB tickling the frets. Hello, Rick Hornyak!
A friend of a family member recently was visiting Texas and read an article in a local paper about you and your music. Your name caught her eye and she brought the article back for us to read. Even though your last name is what initially interested us (we're from Pittsburgh, PA, by the way)your "story" is what I think everyone finds the most compelling. Best of luck to you in fulfilling all your dreams! You are quite an inspiration. I'm looking forward to hearing your music soon.
Happy Holidays!
Sincerely,
Lisa(Hornyak)Curtis

Rick, For years I've watched movie credits for fun just to see if a 'Horn-yak' is ever mentioned. No dice. A couple weeks ago, my dad sent me a pic of him wearing a hornyak? t-shirt and I thought it was the greatest! Some of his friends saw you somewhere near Cochranton, PA. We're from Pittsburgh, South Hills. It's been a tough road with a name like ours. I've been all over the US the last 19 years but if you ever find yourself in the Sacramento/San Francisco area, you can stay with family.
Take care, God Bless, all the best to you (Matt 6:25-34),
Jim
